We Can Help!

Course Requirements

You must take a 4 hour class. You can take our online course, or you can take an in-person course with a licensed instructor. At Too Cool Traffic School we’ve developed the best online interactive video-based course available. Our course is the only one that is 100% narrated in a fun way. If you prefer the content is available if you want to read it, but isn’t it much easier to listen to someone talk about a topic than to read it? Other online courses are just long pages of text that you must read. The Course is 4 hours long so this means you have to spend 4 hours in this course. There is no way to get around that. That is why it is called a 4-hour course. However, you do not need to take all the 4 hours all at once and if you exit you will return where you left off so you won’t lose your place. Our course has each lesson timed so that you spend exactly the time you need. Just sit back and listen and absorb the information.

Drive time Requirements

You are required to practice your driving skills. You must have either:

  • 4 hours with a professional driving instructor

  • OR

  • Spend 24 hours driving with a licensed driver 21 or older. (Cannot spend more than 4 hours each day)

Proof of Completion

You must provide proof to the Ohio BMV that you have completed these requirements. We will mail you your Certificate of Completion when you complete our course. We mail them every day, Monday-Friday. If you complete your course before 11:30AM it is mailed that same day with First Class USPS mail. This means we will email you your very own tracking number for it so you can track it. If you paid for expedited shipping through FEDEx, we mail also mail that daily Monday-Friday at 4:30PM. FEDEx only delivers mail on business days, which are Monday-Friday. You must receive a hard copy the state requires it. [4501-8-10] Electronic versions are not allowed. You must also provide the affidavit verifying that you met the driving requirements. This form is available from the BMV by CLICKING HERE.

May We Suggest

Everyone wants to get their license as fast as possible. To help you with this we suggest that you sign up for our course and start right away. Once you have completed the course you have to wait for your certificate in the mail (usually takes 3 – 5 business days to receive it by USPS First Class mail). This is the perfect time to be doing your driving practice with your driver 21 years old or older. You can only drive four (4) hours per day so it will take at least 6 days of driving to complete your 24 hours of practice.
